Overview

Church Exchange is a trusted marketplace built for churches and faith-based organizations. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what is and is not permitted on our platform to ensure it remains safe, trustworthy, and valuable for the entire church community.

Permitted Uses

Listing ministry equipment such as sound systems, instruments, and lighting.
Listing church furniture, office equipment, and vehicles.
Listing kids ministry supplies, décor, and signage.
Donating items free of charge to other churches in need.
Trading resources between churches.
Posting wanted listings for items your church needs.
Contacting other churches regarding their listings.

Prohibited Uses

The following are strictly prohibited on Church Exchange:

Non-ministry items: Personal items, household goods, or commercial products unrelated to church use.
Counterfeit or stolen goods: Items you do not own or have no right to sell.
Misleading listings: Inaccurate descriptions, fake prices, or deceptive photos.
Spam: Posting duplicate or irrelevant listings to inflate visibility.
Harassment: Contacting other users in an abusive, threatening, or unwanted manner.
Impersonation: Claiming to represent a church or organization you do not represent.
Illegal items: Anything prohibited by local, state, or federal law.
Commercial solicitation: Using the platform to advertise for-profit businesses or services.

Image Standards

Images must accurately represent the item being listed.
Do not use stock photos in place of actual item photos.
Images must not contain offensive or inappropriate content.
Do not include personal identifying information (faces, addresses) in listing images.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in listing removal, account suspension, or permanent banning from Church Exchange. We review reports from the community and act on verified violations promptly. To report a violation, email report@churchexchange.app.
